Help your employees buy their own insurance

Provide your employees with a Private Exchange resource to purchase the health insurance plan that best meets their needs and budget. Decide on a fixed amount “defined contribution” you’d like to contribute for benefits. You can even choose to contribute $0.

Just as every employee is unique, so are their benefit needs. Employers now have a way to address the different requirements of each employee, while also managing the company’s bottom line. That means cost control and predictability for the employer, and greater involvement and choice for the employee.

Employers create a private exchange account, choose the benefit plan options to make available, set up a defined contribution strategy, and allow employees to shop for their own benefits.

Offer group insurance to your employees

Employers with less than 50 employees are not required to offer a group plan to their employees under the new ACA law, however traditional style group benefits may still be your preferred offering.

The private exchange “defined contribution” model doesn’t always work for every group. We can still provide you with a quote for the private exchange, and also assist you with your group health plan, if you prefer the traditional group benefits model.

Let your employees figure it out

Done with health benefits? You’re not alone. Many employers are deciding to drop their health benefits and send their employees to the public exchanges for coverage. Who will help them with the sometimes difficult decision of finding the best plan for their needs? Your employees don’t have to go at it alone.

Your employees can still shop for health and other insurance plans on the Texas Bar Private Insurance Exchange – Individual marketplace. We’ll provide expert advice from licensed benefits counselors and even help them access subsidies on the public exchange, if they qualify.
